VELO AND TABLET:
THE NEW
FRONTIER OF
SHOWER TRAYS

VELO and TABLET are the shower trays designed by BCF Design in collaboration with the Research and Development Center of Domus Falerii: two innovative lines of shower trays that combine design, functionality and advanced technology.
The important project that led to the development of the design of the VELO shower trays in high tech ceramic and TABLET in Solid Surface, is based on the identification of two key pillars: dimensional modularity and simplicity of installation.

1.MODULARITY
DIMENSIONAL:

The production includes
over 80 dimensional solutions,
capable of integrating into any
architectural context.
From the most compact
solutions to large ones,
the shower trays reach up to 2
meters wide by 1 metre.

2.EASY
INSTALLATION:

Thanks to an innovative
technology which has made it
possible to have shower trays
only 20 mm high, it is possible
to install them flush with the
floor without requiring
special preparations.
The installation is simple
and comparable to that of a
normal ceramic
coating.

VELO: THE HIGH TECH CERAMIC SHOWER TRAY

The VELO shower tray, made of high-tech ceramic, offers over 30 colors and stands out for its high resistance, also ideal for outdoor uses. It is available in two surface variants: smooth or non-slip.

BCF DESIGN:
A LONG
HISTORY OF
INNOVATION
IN SHOWER TRAYS

In its long professional history, BCF has developed various projects related to the shower tray. Since the 1990s, BCF Design has signed projects that have marked the evolution of the shower tray, transforming it from a simple sanitary ware to a design element.

Among the most significant works we remember:

  • Kyoto, presented and marketed by Roca in the first decade of the 2000s, this model introduced the shower as a furnishing element outside the traditional bathroom, to be experienced as a pure emotional as well as functional element, inspired by the elements of a Japanese garden.
  • The Vortix shower, a model with an essential design, inspired by the reflection of a drop falling in water, awarded at the Delta award in Spain in 2007.
  • Kreto, the shower tray that echoed the cracks in the clay, thus allowing the flow of water to be guided in a unique way.
  • Plain, the singular shower tray in enamelled steel which reproduced the design of a world as a non-slip surface. These examples represent only part of the extraordinary history of BCF Design, which continues to renew itself thanks to its experience and ability to interpret new trends by proposing increasingly innovative solutions.
