Virgoletta, the latest creation from BCF Design in collaboration with the Domus Falerii Research and Development Center, is inspired by the idea of a small sail. A dynamic design, where angled lines lend lightness and movement to this compact series. Measuring just 50 cm long, it is the ideal solution for small, modern bathrooms, without sacrificing ergonomics and ease of use.

The accentuated inclination of the front enhances the dynamism and lightness of Virgoletta. Available in both floor-standing and wall-hung versions, the line, thanks to its angular architecture inspired by a small sail, is elusive in its volumes and unobtrusive in its movement within the bathroom. At the same time, it gives a perception of lightness, integrating discreetly into the furnishing context.
A discreet and light line, like the billowing of a small sail.

The new series was previewed at Cersaie 2025, in a stand with a strong visual impact.

The challenge of compact sanitary ware and bathrooms:

How often do we face small bathrooms?
An increasingly common reality, linked to the progressive reduction of living spaces for cost and market reasons.
In this context, service areas, such as the bathroom, are often found in limited spaces, where the various fixtures struggle to find an adequate location.
To meet these needs, over the years, compact bathroom fixtures have been developed, capable of making even small spaces functional without sacrificing comfort, ergonomics, and elegant design.
In a world where living spaces are shrinking, even the bathroom becomes a place to be designed intelligently.

Virgoletta was created precisely to meet this need: to optimize spaces without aesthetic or functional compromises.

The Riva sanitary ware case

Compact bathroom fixtures have always been a challenge in the world of design: they must combine ergonomics and functionality with the limited space typical of contemporary homes.

BCF Design anticipated this trend in 2004 with the Riva di Falerii series, an iconic project that combined ergonomics and compact dimensions. Designed by BCF Design and presented at Cersaie 2004, the Riva series stood out for its width of just 30 cm compared to the usual 36 cm.
This choice allowed it to be inserted even in the most limited spaces, saving about 10 cm along the walls without compromising comfort and usability.
A series that, even today, amazes with its modernity.
